AC Milan have announced that they will sign Danish defender Simon Kair from Sevilla on loan for six months.
The Italian club said in a statement on its official website on the Internet, that Kayer, 31, signed a contract that extends until June 30 next, with a clause allowing the signing of a permanent contract.
Milan added that the player will be presented to the media on January 16, as the conference will be broadcast on the club’s TV channel and its applications via social media.
He has previously played for the Italian Maitland, Palermo and Roma clubs, German Wolfsburg, French night, Turkish Fenerbahce, Seville and Atalanta, and he has held the leadership armband for the Danish national team since 2016, where he played 95 international matches and scored three goals.
Kaier became the club's second deal in the current winter transfer market, after signing a contract with Swedish veteran Zalatan Ibrahimovic on a contract until the end of the current season.
Milan is tenth in the Italian league standings with 25 points.
