English club Aston Villa announced today, Monday, that it signed a contract with Jose Manuel "Pepe" Reina, former Liverpool goalkeeper, from Milan, on loan until the end of the current season.
The experience of Reina, 37, who has spent nine seasons before with Liverpool, is in addition to the Aston Villa team, which lacks the efforts of its goalkeeper Tom Heaton until the end of the season due to injury.
Aston Villa is 18th in the league and is looking forward to giving Reina a role in helping the team improve their position in the league table.
Aston Villa coach Dean Smith said, "We have succeeded in bringing in an element that has great experience in the English Premier League and is Bibi."
